Nuestras prédicas y el material presentado desean preservarse dentro de la doctrina cristiana evangélica surgida del seno de la Reforma Protestante del siglo XVI.
Ser evangélico significa que nuestra iglesia se basa en los evangelios de Jesucristo. La fe cristiana evangélica se resume en las consignas: Sola Escritura, Sólo Cristo, Sola Gracia, Sola Fe.

  • Sólo la fe: Expresa la convicción de que podemos recibir ese regalo en plena confianza de que lo que Dios ha hecho en Cristo es suficiente para nuestra salvación.

  • Sólo la escritura: Significa que la Escritura, formada por el Antiguo Testamento y el Nuevo Testamento, es la única y perfecta fuente de la fe, la enseñanza y la vida en una comunidad cristiana. La Biblia es el estándar más alto para juzgar la doctrina y la vida de la Iglesia. La Iglesia y, especialmente, los portadores del ministerio pastoral están obligados a nombrar y rechazar la falsa doctrina y el pecado por su nombre.

  • Sólo Cristo: Quiere decir que Jesús de Nazaret, Dios hecho ser humano, crucificado y resucitado, es el único mediador entre Dios y los seres humanos, la cabeza de la Iglesia y su único Señor.

  • Sólo la Gracia: Significa que Dios acepta al ser humano pecador y lo restaura gratuitamente a su condición de hijo sin necesidad de méritos. La salvación es un regalo de Dios para quienes confían únicamente en Él.

Our sermons and the material presented aim to be preserved within the evangelical Christian doctrine that emerged from the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century.
To be evangelical means that our (evangelical) church is based on the gospels of Jesus Christ. The evangelical Christian faith is summarized in the slogans: Sola Scriptura, Solus Christus, Sola Gratia, Sola Fide.

  • Only faith: It expresses the conviction that we can receive this gift in full confidence that what God has done in Christ is perfectly sufficient for our salvation.

  • Only Scripture: It means that the Scripture, formed by the OT and the NT, is the only and perfect source of faith, teaching, and life in a Christian community. The Bible is the highest standard for judging the doctrine and life of the Church. The Church, and especially those in pastoral ministry, are obligated to name and reject false doctrine and sin by name.

  • Only Christ: It means that Jesus of Nazareth, God made human, crucified and risen, is the only mediator between God and human beings, the head of the Church, and its only Lord.

  • Only Grace: It means that God accepts the sinful human being and freely restores him to his condition as a son, without the need for merit. Salvation is a gift from God to those who trust only in Him.
